For you to set up two-factor authentication for Luno, you need to first verify your email and phone number.

Luno automatically secures your account when you verify your phone number and email location. The app sends you a code when you want to sign in to your account.

A two-factor authentication process protects your Luno account. No one can use it to get access, even if they have your Luno account details.

Once you’ve verified your phone number and email address, you can set up the verification methods. Use an Authenticator app to help keep your crypto safe.

How To Set Up Two-factor Authentication For Luno

Step 1: Open Luno App

Open the Luno app on your Android or iPhone. Sign in if you’re not already logged in. Go to your “Profile” at your screen’s bottom right corner.

From the profile menu, click on “Security.” A new page will open, and then click on “Two-factor authentication.”

Step 3: Tap on Get Started

Tap “Get Started” and copy the key on the new page. Paste the key in the Google Authenticator app or other authentication apps you use. Go back to Luno and click “I’ve done this” to continue the setup.

Step 4: Enter 6 digit code

Enter the 6-digit code generated in your Authenticator app for Luno, and the setup process will be successful.

Once you have enabled two-factor authentication for Luno. Anytime you want to sign in to your account, Luno will send a code to your Authenticator app. Luno will then ask you to enter the code.
